Kristofer Sampson // Chief Engineer / Producer
Kris Sampson shares double duties at Nickel and Dime Studios; he is not only an up-and-coming producer, but also the Chief Engineer for the facility. Kris has been involved in some way for every recording at Nickel and Dime Studios, from major label platinum radio hits to the underground buzz bin. Kris has worked with such greats as Train, the B-52s, Sister Hazel, Butch Walker and Manuel Seal.

Kris has recorded demos for Train following their multi-platinum "Drops of Jupiter" release. Kris has recorded albums for Ashalt Blaster, John Colt of the Black Crowes, and Nick Didia.

Kris plays guitar for Variac and has served as engineer for bands like Y.O.U., The Whigs, United, Entertainme.nt, Brass Knuckle Surfer, Count and the Brew. Kris believes that, "There are tons of buttons on the recording console, but none of them say PASSION. We help artists to feel confident and relaxed so they're comfortable. So they can perform like they're singing in their shower or their car."
